cticeman29 asked: I need to prevent a certain domain user from using a certain domain computer. I’m using Server 2003 Active Directory. Computer is running XP Pro.
I need to restrict the user to all but one computer - I’m guessing I need to create some kind of local policy on the workstation?

Qwestion247 asked: I have initiated the transfer process and paid for my new domain service elsewhere, including entering the domain register authorization code from my old provider to the new one. What would happen if I canceled my service contract with my old (current) domain registrar right now? I ask because it’s due to renew, and I want to cancel it BEFORE it does, since they won’t refund my money. If I cancel it today (for example), what will happen to the domain transfer process? Will I lose the money I’ve paid the company I’m transferring to?

But I’ve heard that there are two domains, i.e. time and frequency. How they relate to each other and whats the difference between them? If we view frequencies in terms of frequency domain, does time axes still exist?

I created new user accounts on new domain (new server) and i want to change my workstations to this new user accounts and domain but i want to keep existing documents and other settings for existing (old) user account.

Inshii asked: I have a domain setup with MS Server2000 that all of the computers in our company are part of. I need to have a certain number of computers removed from the domain so that everything within the domain is unaccessable from those computers while they still work within the building.
I created a separate workgroup and added those few computers to it so that they can share files between them but not with the rest of the company and not with the domain. The problem is is that because they are within the building and on the same lan - when they are on the workgroup they can still access the folders on the domain through My Network Places and map drives to those folders (some are shared).
How can I set the server/domain so that everybody outside of the domain cannot access any folder or file residing on the domain itself? So… how do i make DOMAIN-A unaccessble by any computer outside of DOMAIN-A or at least by any computer on WORKGROUP-B?
