Where can I find the site that I can submit my domain name for free?

I am creating my web page for fun. I tried to find the sites for submitting my domain for free, I couldn’t find them. I only see is that they’re pay with the credit card. I don’t know how can I make a domain name and placing it. Help me out!

   I now use for my Blogspot domain.
   So far it’s great, cos it also provides me free email with that domain (though the email is for forwarding purpose only, but it’s still cool), and it also gives statistic of site visitor.
   No ads, though if you want you can opt to use its tikinet if you want to attract more visitors to your site (it’s like link exchange amongst the tk users).
